At the end of the academic year, ASRS provides sponsor-branded award plaques for students who had positive attendance and excelled in the classroom. Awards are given to students in the following categories:​

• Valedictorian

• Salutatorian

• Most improved female student

• Most improved male student

• Best attendance among female students

• Best attendance among male students

 

ASRS aims to expand this initiative to include all middle schools in the Syracuse City School District.
